You have full control over your data. This page explains what gets deleted, when, and how to request deletion — in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.
Delete Your Account In-App
You can delete your account directly from the SwasthOne app:
- Open the app → go to Profile
- Tap Settings → Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot access the app, email us at privacy@swasthone.in with:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered phone number
- A brief confirmation that you want your account and all data permanently deleted
We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account (name, phone number, email)
- All family member profiles you created
- All uploaded medical records and document files
- All medications and health profile data
- AI-generated summaries and extracted health data
- Aadhaar verification data (masked Aadhaar, name, DOB, gender)
- Push notification tokens
- Join requests associated with your account
What Is Not Deleted
- Anonymised analytics data — aggregate, non-identifiable usage data that cannot be traced back to you
- Legal records — any records we are required to retain under applicable Indian law
Family Group Members
If you are the family admin and delete your account, the entire family group is deleted, including all member profiles and records. If you are a member (not the admin) and delete your account, only your data is removed — other members are not affected.
Timeline
- Deletion begins immediately on request
- All personal data removed within 30 days
- Files removed from cloud storage within 30 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once complete
